This app’s functionality is very, very disappointing—but that’s not why I’m reviewing it:
I rarely use this app and haven’t even launched it in months. Yet, minutes ago, I got an ADVERTISEMENT, sent through this app’s push notifications, for the developers new app. So, even though I don’t use their app, theyre invading my personal space by sending ADVERTISEMENTS.
Not only is that sleazy, but theyre in clear violation of Apple’s Terms of Service:
—> 5.3 Apps that send Push Notifications without first obtaining user consent will be rejected
—> 5.5 Apps that use Push Notifications to send unsolicited messages, or for the purpose of phishing or spamming will be rejected
—> 5.6 Apps cannot use Push Notifications to send advertising, promotions, or direct marketing of any kind
So, buyer beware.
